Even during last season's poor campaign Liverpool  managed to maintain decent enough home form. Most of their wins seem to  come with a 2 goals or margain as well (10 of their 13 home wins where  by 2 goals or more in fact). Okay yes Liverpool were disapointing in  their last league game against Man City but back at home against newly  promoted West Brom they shouldn't have too many problems. Both Gerrard  and Torres sat out their midweek game in Turkey and it's a possiblity  that either or both could play in this match, which would be an obvious  boost for them.

West Brom recorded a deserved win against  Sunderland last week at home but playing away at Anfield I find it  difficult to see them causing Liverpool many problems at the back and  they showed thier defensive weaknesses against Chelsea on opening day. I  fail to see West Brom scoring in this and think a 2-0 or 3-0 Liverpool  win is highly likely here.

Liverpool started the season slowly, but i believe it's time they get their rhytim back. It's been a while since Liverpool recorded a fancy win, and Roberto Di Matteo's team is a suitable one with a weak and unorganized defence.

Torres is getting back in good form and together with Gerrard -after a good rest in midweek- they will not have big problems scoring with also Kuyt and Jovanovic. ?ąt is also a good opporutinty for Roy Hodgson to make a statement about his managerial abilities
