I. Blog basics
1. What is a blog?
A blog is a website in which journal entries are posted on a regular basis and displayed in reverse chronological order. The term blog is a shortened form of weblog or web log.
2. What is a betting blog?
Blog used for posting betting picks and thoughts.
3. How blogs differ from traditional sites?
A blog has certain attributes that distinguish it from a standard web page. It allows for easy creation of new pages: new data is entered into a simple form (usually with the title, the category, and the body of the article) and then submitted. Automated templates take care of adding the article to the home page, creating the new full article page and adding the article to the appropriate date- or category-based archive. It allows for easy filtering of content for various presentations: by date, category, author, or other attributes. It usually allows the administrator to invite and add other authors, whose permissions and access are easily managed.
4. What does free hosted blog service mean?
A blog hosting service is a service that hosts blogs. It typically creates a virtual community of bloggers. Blog hosting services are usually not full-featured web hosting services. Most blog hosting services are free but advertisement-supported, and offer additional functionality and removing advertisements for a monthly fee.

5. I submitted a pick with wrong date/odds/bookmaker etc., what should I do?
In order to prevent fraud Blogabet does not allow for bloggers to edit their pick details after publishing except for the analysis and sport/league fields. So if you have entered pick with wrong data, please use the special SUPPORT topic in our forum to inform us for the error and we will take care to correct it.
6. Who updates the results of the bets?
It is responsibility of each blogger to update the results of his own bets when they are available from the Pending Picks section in the blog's Meta menu after login. Failing to do so or deliberatly entering wrong data will result in termination of the account.
7. I entered wrong return while updating my bets. What should I do?
In such cases please use the special SUPPORT topic in our forum to inform us for the error and we will take care to correct it.
8. I posted some picks, but they are not visible on main page. Why?
On main page we show only picks with analysis from selected (Premium) tipsters. Follow the link to learn how to get promoted to Premium Tipster.
9. I read I can display banners of my own in my blog. Are there any restrictions?
You can display any banners you wish, including bookmakers' affiliate banners, other advertising banners, etc. However please note that we do not tolerate banners with pornographic, racist or any other abusive content.
